I came across the Sandler Success Formula, courtesy of Sandler Training and I think it is worth sharing. It provides strong clarity. It focuses on Behavior, Attitude, and Technique.
I encourage you to write down the things you are working on to improve your business or professional skills. Not the actions involved to operate IN your role but what are you doing to work ON your business to make it better? Capture the things you are doing to improve you or your business.
Once complete, evaluate the list to see which of the following categories the activity falls into and ask yourself, "Is this the most important thing for the success of my business?" and "Where should I be working?"
BEHAVIORS
These include your Goals, Plans, and Actions. Are your business goals set? Do you have a process for projects and customer delivery? Are they repeatable? In short, are you doing the essential tasks well and measuring them?
ATTITUDE
How do you feel about the Market/Industry, Company, and You personally? Does your attitude need to be modified to perform at a higher level?
TECHNIQUES
As an individual or team, are you using the right Tactics? Do they align with your Strategies? Do your techniques fit your Resources and Strengths, or do they rely on improving some Weaknesses?
